Gray Skies

A uniform gray pall covers the sky.
Silence is sucking life out of all things
Stillness replaces sounds and color.
There is no joy in Med-ville.*
Rain is on its way…

No seam between sea and sky,
All nebulous liquid distortion…

Thick drops fall straight down.
No anger, no energy pouring down,
Only tears everywhere.

Is someone having a bad day…, or are you auditioning to be the Weather Channel’s color commentator? As per usual, Emm, your imagery is perfect – if gloomy !!!
    Cheers,

My day was greyer and colder than even the day could imagine

When a day is gray and forlorn you need to speak up and say so. Let’s not have any of this holding back.
    Express yourself!!!!!!!!!

When she describes the colour of the day
    Whether sunshine or storm
    Your words are always warm
Regardless of what the others may say
