The sun fights through morning clouds
Diffusing his light in vanilla shades
The pepper tree holds its breath waiting for more
And He conquers.
Grateful oleanders receive a lateral sunbath
Leaves outstreched, soaking the rays in
To dry remnants of nocturnal rain
Snails chomp on dandelions
Robins banter and flirt
Pepper trees and mimosas compare notes
The lily-of-the-valley blows me a kiss
Of fragrance just because
Pale blue butterflies flutter in my heart
Joy lands by my coffee cup in a giggle.

At least the sun struggled today and won. We are having a bright Monday morning

Yes it did. For a short while … storms and hail expected this afternoon. Enjoy your sunny day Noel.

Audacious! Lovely word. It was a typical March day in May. Hot to cool to rain and back to sunny in time for sunset!

Is the Sun fickle, or are the other elements conspiring against it?
Looks like Foter is working. Do you find it easy enough to find the image you’re looking for?

He is not fickle, he seems to be trying but every morning he faces impossibly thick cloud cover that he can’t pierce. On a good day, once he rises above them they disperse.
Foter works well for me. A plethora of images… no problems so far.
Thank you for that.
