Hazy Skies

Silent witness

Silent witness

Hazy skies
Fuzzy shadows
Uncertain steps

The pelican watches
Witness to past and present
Time and water flow

Cicadas keep it upbeat
Soft voices on a breeze
Calm a frightened child

Light feather on a flagstone
Trace of a passing wing
Soaring above it all

Magnolia scent adrift
A twinkle in a smile
Balance regained.

Et le pelican, je sais bien, dit rien, et voit tout.

    Good evening, Emm,
Every piece of the puzzle plays its part in the balance of life. The glances at different scenes you painted bring back some pleasant memories. 🙂
