The pelican watches
Witness to past and present
Time and water flow
Cicadas keep it upbeat
Soft voices on a breeze
Calm a frightened child
Light feather on a flagstone
Trace of a passing wing
Soaring above it all
Magnolia scent adrift
A twinkle in a smile

Thank you Tony. I am glad to hear from you. I wondered where you had gone.
Be well too.
Une petite magie, encore.
Et le pelican, je sais bien, dit rien, et voit tout.
Il reste content la, a la piscine?
Pour l’instant il ne se plaint pas… 🙂
Beautiful thoughts come to mind in reading your words… Thank you for sharing!

Good evening, Emm,
Every piece of the puzzle plays its part in the balance of life. The glances at different scenes you painted bring back some pleasant memories. 🙂
