First the air leaves the lungs
And can’t seem to find its way back.
Then the heart can’t get it together
To beat the way it should
And there is a wailed scream in the mind.
After that chaos rages in every cell.
Water from everywhere in the body pools in the eyes
And starts leaking.
The world vanishes in a sustained blur.
With luck death will come now.
Sounds come out of your throat
That you don’t recognize.
Rational thoughts frozen,
Flight and fight responses
Take over blindly
Then begins the wait
In the black pool,
On your knees,
For colours and sounds to return,
For life to make sense
That explains pain very well!
Thank you Noel.
I hope you are well my friend, it’s been quite a while since I wrote to you.
Doing fine Noel, thank you.
I have my traveling shoes on again….
Am glad to hear. Keep traveling and dreaming my friend
A true snapshot.
Thanks. We have all been there at some point haven’t we?
Hell yeah 😦
Ouch, em. I don’t like to imagine what would have to happen.
Could be anything from banging your thumb with a hammer to another pain that makes no noise. 🙂
Sounds like describing a heart attack !!!
I believe that any kind of severe pain is an attack on the heart Paul.
Comme tes mots sont douloureux!
Tu écris encore á la perfection, mais zut alors, la tristesse et la douleur sont trop.
Parfois la vie est dure, c’est tout. Mais éventuellement l’équilibre revient je pense, ou du moins j’espère!
Yikes Emm, are you ok ? You have been very busy and I have been …elsewhere. I hope your real world is spinning as it should be …. …Tony
The world spins as it should be. Mine always seems to be on the edge of something undefined. Thanks Tony.
